GLORY ROADS V | 27th September 2020

GRAVEL

Glory Roads is a cycling event dedicated to gravel bikes and mtb that mixes along his route unspoiled nature and medieval villages. The event offers two different routes, 80 or 150 km, both crossing the provinces of  Padova, Treviso and Vicenza, in Veneto.

ADVENTURE

The event offers two different routes, 80 or 150 km, both crossing the provinces of  Padova, Treviso and Vicenza. The 80 km route is thought for those with an average fitness level,  total elevation is scarce an it doesn’t include too many technical sections.

FUN

Glory Roads is not a competition. The event aims to give the chance to all participants to discover the area, have fun and relax among old and new friends, while riding through some undiscovered gems that will let you – we are sure of this – breathless.

  • HALF GLORY | The 80 km route is thought for those with an average fitness level,  total elevation is scarce an it doesn’t include too many technical sections.
  • FULL GLORY | The 150 km  ruote is instead dedicated to those who want to spend an entire day on the bike. The elevation difference and the distance are remarkable, and some sections require technical skills.

Those who participated at the first two editions may remember that the starting point of Glory Roads was at Cicli Galetti Bikeshop, founder and promoter of the event. 2020 marks the 100th anniversary for the brand, and we feel that this milestone deserves to be celebrated starting and finishing in front of the bikeshop, as we did when the event was first created.

Since last year, Glory Roads embraces a project in solidarity with the onco-hematology center of Padua. For each edition, € 2.00 will be donated to the AIL (Italian Anti-Leukemia Association) branch of Padua, engaged in scientific research on leukemias and other malignant hemopathies.

We really care about this, helping others also helps making ourselves feel better!
